With pallet as storage unit, the shuttle-type intensive automatic warehouse mostly uses shuttle vehicle to stack directly in the shelf rail and uses forklift vehicle or AGV (automatic guide vehicle) to connect to the front of the warehouse. As one of the leading representatives of automatic warehousing shelves, the shuttle type intensive automatic warehouse uses the shuttles which can be controlled flexibly in the terminal to store and take the pallet goods. As an upgraded version of shuttle shelf, the shuttle system of mother-child car is optimized and upgraded on the basis of basic shuttle shelf, which realizes the requirement of three-dimensional automation of stock and pick-up by adding stackers and other equipment. Horizontal shuttle vehicle and vertical vehicle are called mother vehicle and child vehicle. Shuttle-intensive storage is the currently the most efficient storage mode.

In the short-term, the investment of shuttle-type intensive automatic warehouse is higher than that of traditional shelves. However, in the long-term labor and equipment maintenance cost of shuttle-type shelves, it decreases far lower than ordinary shelves. Therefore, shuttle shelves are necessarily a better choice for those who want to pursue long-term considerations.

In the early stages of the project, the staff of Intelligent Warehousing Department of Eoslift went to the customer site to investigate the actual needs of customers. According to the product specifications, models and actual needs of customers, a complete and practical solution of intelligent warehousing system was provided to the construction dimension planning, ground bearing requirements and the design of product bearing pallets in the early stage of warehousing.
This project is designed as a bracket rack, which uses the form of stacker combined with shuttle vehicle to realize high-density storage of goods. Three roadways were designed with a total of 6, 632 cargo spaces and a total height of 11.2 meters. In the storehouse, by the task execution of three roadways of the three stackers under the straight track mode, the system functionally realizes empty pallet entry and exit management and cargo entry and exit management. The warehouse system can achieve the flow of 42P/h in warehouse and 25P/h out of warehouse with the total flow in and out of the reservoir at 79P/h.
This software management system is developed independently by Eoslift, which can extract information from PDA and realize intelligent warehousing management of materials under the mature WMS management and control system.
